For patients with bipolar disorder, once a day dosage of 15mg is recommended and for adolescents and children less than 17 years and above 13 years, a dosage of 2 mg once a day is recommended. You should not increase the dosage before two weeks as this is the minimum time to achieve some sign of improvement after taking this treatment.
